Zpocalypse is the first game developed by Greenbrier Games and it’s really cool. Players form squads of survivors that emerge from their fallout shelters and try to make their way into the new apocalyptic wasteland (full of zombies, of course).

City of Zombies is a co-operative, dice-based intense team survival game. Players combine dice to target and remove zombies from an ever-advancing horde before their barricade is overrun. The only problem, you ask? There’s only room for one more person in the chopper. That’s right, this is a free-for-all brawl. No cooperative, let’s be friends and build a world together, here. Every man, woman, and child is on their own. What We Liked:

The game scales in difficulty from Basic to Director’s Cut. The basic game is what you expect from a low-budget zombie movie. The zombies shamble along and the survivors mow them down. The game is suitable for all ages and abilities, and can be played in as little as 15 minutes (in the shorter version). The key game mechanics involve manipulating the numbers rolled on the dice via combinations of mathematical functions (from basic addition and subtraction through to squaring and cube rooting) to hit the exact numbers on the encroaching zombie cards - you need a precise head shot to take them out! As a co-op game, the difficulty can be tailored to suit the skills of the players, and supports groups of mixed abilities well.

One of the interesting things about Last Night on Earth is that it’s played in teams. Zombies vs. Humans. Depending upon the scenario, the humans will have various objectives and the zombies will, of course, be trying to eat some brains.Don’t let the title fool you. There’s actually very limited player interaction in Diplomacy of the Dead. Player interaction is basically limited to dice roll bonuses and (possibly) a player funneling zombies away from their territory and into yours.
